Our Mission
WELL Africa is a Nonprofit Organization created to provide a long-term and sustainable solution to the issue of child slavery and the poverty that causes it.
Our Vision
We are using an innovative approach to educate and empower children, farmers, women, and communities in the Ivory Coast, the cocoa capital of the world. We strive to break the vicious poverty cycle to create a new one, a cycle of prosperity.
Our Strategy
Our strategy relies on strong ties, collaboration, and partnerships built over the years with farmers, communities, Government officials, and other key players in the industry to achieve the biggest possible impact. For us, collaboration is the new leadership and mutual trust- the backbone of our action.
MILESTONES
Sept 2012 : Creation of WELL AFRICA Inc. In the US and Ivory Coast
Apr 2013 : First place winner « Empower your dream » competition in the US (Hawai)
Sept 2013 : Construction of the first primary school in Touih - San-Pédro Côte d’Ivoire
June 2014 : Launch of the Women Empowerment Program
Apr 2015 : Enactus USA Champions
Oct 2015: Enactus World cup 2nd place champions
Sept 2016: Construction of the 2nd primary school in Tiebissou Côte d’Ivoire
Feb 2017: Construction of the health center (image à venir) - On pourra utliser une photo prise lors des travaux et mettre a jour lorsque le centre de sante ouvrira cette annee.
Sept 2018: Construction of the 3rd Primary school in Aboisso
2019: Groundbreaking of the high school in San Pedro ( Ici on pourrais utiliser l image ou nous avons les pelles en main)
